Recognition: You've Been Doing This All Along
Recognition is that "oh" moment, when you notice something you've been doing all along. Like realizing you don't so much "watch" the stove when you're cooking – you listen for the sizzle more than you realized. The sound tells you more than the visual of food blackening, and smell comes too late. How much you use hearing to cook with might surprise you. You've been working handily by sound the whole time, you just didn't give it credit. Recognition doesn't require you to change anything. You're just noticing what's already true, what's already working.
(So, ok – 'recognition' does change everything. You notice yourself listening and you notice that you didn't notice it before. That in itself is very brain fluffing.)
