Solid Research Ground

I've built these ideas about interoception on current research, informed by my experience. Some of the research is flawed; and I want to be, and I hope you will be, suitably skeptical. But the basic facts – the 50+ interoceptive data streams, the communication flow and its massive negotiations, the neglect of systems other than the nervous system, the importance of fascia, that there is no ego/mastermind atop a hierarchical system, that consciousness is too slowwww to play the role it attributes to itself: these concepts are not speculative. They are well established. Fascia holding protective patterns that resist conscious access – this is solid.
