Fascia is the Matrix

I keep mulling about the fascia. Technically, the sensors in the fascia are part of the nervous system, similar to or the same as the sensors in our muscles and joints. But they are so much more sensitive. And muscles… well, they are independent from one another, whereas the fascia are networked. The fascia surround and support the lymph system: circulation, communication, cleansing. Thus, they implicate the immune system and the endocrine system, as well as those over-emphasized neurons. And please don't tell me that the cardio-vascular system is unaffected by the fascia – fascia of the heart? But don't forget that movement everywhere – legs, arms, gut – helps the heart pump. Most importantly, there is the tensegrity of the fascial system, where you pluck on one part of the net and it affects the everything everywhere. I haven't settled on how to think about fascia, but surely it transcends the other systems…?
